The owner of Bókaháza was the Boka family, then in the XVIIIth century the Boka family settled down here. The mansion belonging to the family was built in 1787. |

The recent castle's style thanks to a renaissance reconstruction work which changed the building appearence. The towers looked like an antique Italian bastion which had a nearly perfect tetragon plan closed every side with deltoid shapes on the corners. This part of the building presented the inside castle's wings around had an outside fortification which was built by a pile line, stick rope and soil also having an open ditch too. | |

The Festetics Palace is a Baroque palace located in the town of Keszthely, Zala county, Hungary. Its construction, started by Kristóf Festetics in 1745, lasted more than a century, during which the palace, built at first on the foundations of a ruined castle, was tripled in size, in two subsequent building campaigns, most recently in the 1880s, to designs by Viktor Rumpelmayer, living in Vienna. | |
